This week the 1 Day 1 World Project moves into the hour that I am usually unwinding and fading quickly into the world of dreams. This time of day is wired into me as the time to shut down. I have been pondering how I would handle these night-time hours since I am a morning person. Fortunately Maggie and I were able to get in a late evening walk and at the end I captured this picture of the moon from my backyard. What will happen next week is the unknown…
Beautiful, Patrick!

Thanks Lisa. Pictures at night of the moon are always difficult. I think of this picture as abstract art. Patrick

Thanks Amy! It took several shots to get ine I could use. The moon is not a very cooperative subject. Thanks for stopping by the Garage.

I love this shot — have tried to capture the moon on several occasions with mixed results. i really have to have a tripod for it and don’t always have one with me.
I see you have turned off comments on several of your other posts – but I wanted to tell you that I think of you often and pray God’s best for you in your life. You will have many new experiences and hard decisions in your future, but God is always present. Take hold!

Joy,
Thank you for your prayers and words of encouragement. I know for certian that I am right where God wants me to be and I depend on Him each and every day. I know it is your prayers and the prayers of many others that are keeping me calm in the midst of this storm. Comments have been turned off on several post because I just want to share my experience. This whole process from the beginning of cancer (July 2008) to now has been a huge growth experience. I see the world completely different. There are many things that are no longer important and I have become more empathetic to those around me. Thanks again for taking the time to encourage me this morning. It was definitely needed.
