This morning Maggie wanted to go outside to check her territory earlier than usual. The sky was just starting to brighten. I could see by the clouds it was going to be a sunrise to enjoy. As I went about getting ready to head off to work, I noticed a red glow in the kitchen and back porch. I captured the moment as the sunrise reached its splendor. A moment later it was gone. And so it is with life. Be in the moment and enjoy life abundantly.
Show me, Lord, my life’s end
and the number of my days;
let me know how fleeting my life is.
You have made my days a mere handbreadth;
the span of my years is as nothing before you.
Everyone is but a breath,
even those who seem secure.
Surely everyone goes around like a mere phantom;
in vain they rush about, heaping up wealth
without knowing whose it will finally be.
~ Psalm 39:4-6 ~

Thanks Amy! 🙂 Usually these posts are a reminder to myself. It is very easy to get distracted by a life and forget to enjoy the moments.
