Yesterday was quite warm in my corner of the world. By mid-afternoon it reached 104° and dropped to a pleasant 96° by the time I left work at 4:30 p.m. Neither Maggie nor I venture outside to do much of anything when it is this hot. Instead I worked inside, where it was much cooler, and sorted and shredded old paperwork. When it finally cooled off around 8:00 p.m., Maggie and I ventured outside for a walk through the neighborhood and enjoyed the beautiful sunset. This old weather vane seems as if it has always been on top of the Red Dog Garage. All good reasons to be happy at the end of a long work week.
It’s cooler in Texas than SF, low 90s yesterday 🙂 Beautiful sunset photo!

Several time a year S.F. gets hot. If you believe the news it sounds like the end of the world. 🙂
