Lessons from a Rose Garden


Life is a rose garden with moments of beauty but easily torn asunder by thorns. Beautiful fragrances become the musty smell of winter to decay back into the soil. To grow strong it must be pruned each year to avoid a tangle of briers. Under the right conditions, the leaves are a deep green but can easily become diseased with a change of weather. A rose garden takes a lot of care. So it is with all of our relationships.
