I have come to another cross-road that I expected. I have two directions from which to choose. To turn one way would lead to a rough section along the High Road. This choice would show that my chosen direction is based on truth but may cause discord. To turn the other way along the High Road would require yielding in the hope for peace while the truth is revealed in time. The third direction was eliminated and would have taken me along the same path had the truth been acted upon.
Wisdom is saying to yield, proceed slowly along the High Road, and I will find peace.
Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct his works are in the meekness of wisdom. But if you have bitter envy and self-seeking in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth. This wisdom does not descend from above, but is earthly, sensual, demonic. For where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there. But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy. Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.
