830 Days In Review

It ain’t over ’till It’s over.
~ Yogi Berra ~

Life is like a river
It has a way of changing its course
Sometimes for the best
Sometimes for the worse
830 days have passed
Seems like an eternity
All accounts have been divided
Nothing left for the attorney to do
Emotions at times are still raw
Gaslighting will cease
With time the emotional damage will heal
Bad memories will fade away
Justice is suppose to be blind
Family Law just turns a blind eye
I now own a mostly empty house
But the walls hold good memories
My kids will always have a place called home
I have what I need and no more
In time the truth will be revealed
As I finally shut the door
Better days are just ahead
I choose to be happy

  1. I don’t much about the divorce process, but I know it’s a difficult journey, I read your journal through your posts, and many times with tears in my eyes. It takes much courage to shut the door, but you’ve made it and choose to be happy.. Yes, bad memories will fade away. 🙂
