This morning Maggie and I set out for a hike at Sycamore Grove Park. It has been too long since I last spent time enjoying this beautiful open space. We ended up hiking from one end to the park to the other with just the last few hundred yards on the same trail we started. In all we covered 4.6 miles. Needless to say, Maggie is now sacked out under my chair as I write this post.
The northern boundary of the park boarders the Livermore Valley Wine Country.
On the southern boundary is the Olivina olive orchard. Olivina makes some of the best locally produced olive oil.
