Over the past several weeks, I have been working to turn an area of the back forty into a flower bed instead of a catch-all for extra dirt and flower pots. The first phase required using the dirt for other projects. Then I needed to move or install seven sprinkler heads. A brick boarder, made from the old chimney, was moved to separate the flower bed and lawn. This morning after setting several stepping stones to create a path to the garage, I stood back to look at the result and saw the rose. A happy morning of working in the yard.
