Front Porch Repair – No. 4

Yesterday I was moving the air compressor from under the bench in the garage with the plan to work on installing the porch column crown moldings. A neighbor stopped by and we talked about various projects we both have in the works. Then my neighbor next door mentioned in passing that I always seem to be working on something. Then one thing led to another and the air conpressor only made it to the Summer Kitchen. Today after work I ignored all the other things that I could do and worked on the porch columns to well after dark. Five of the seven columns are now wrapped in their new crown moldings. I started to think about the various projects that I have been working on this year and concluded that progress requires patience and perseverance which is the polar opposite of our instant gradifacation society.
