A storm is passing through
Each drop of rain came from the sea
A long journey fueled by the sun
They ride in the clouds as a vapor
Driven by the forces of the wind
As the vapor dances and collides
A droplet is formed
Drawn back from the sky
One by one they begin to fall
Ending their journey in a symphony
On the metal roof above my desk
… Ending their journey in a symphony. A beautiful poem, Patrick.

Reading it late… but just had to say that I love this poem. A symphony on a metal roof indeed. (while you were getting rain, we were getting snow — a silent symphony!)

Yes. It’s tough to hit the publish button for poetry. Good job!
