The recent storms have left so much rain behind that the Department of Water Resources is releasing water from the reservoir south of the Red Dog Estate. This left these Palm trees in the middle of a flooded area along the Arroyo Del Valle. I was amazed to see how much water is being released.
Closer to home, the Arroyo Mocho is high and running swiftly along its banks. It has not yet flooded the trails like it did about this time last year.
The Almond trees have started to blossom which is a sign that spring is not too far away.
It was good to be outside with Maggie and getting a walking in between rain showers after work.
